There's something about Cameron Diaz....
and Emma Watson...
and Linda Hamilton...
and Rosario Dawson...
and Vanessa Hudgens....
I just can't put my finger on it.
Oh, I know what it is! These 5 card designs just got delivered from the printer.

This is one of the more common questions I get. And the answer is, sort of. I basically have two sets I'm working on.
The first set, and biggest so far is what I refer to as my "Pop Culture Icons" set although I don't have the set name printed on any of the cards. I view this set as a "living set", same as Topps Living set. If you are not familiar with Topps Living Set, it's an open ended set that will continue to grow, there is no end card. They release new card designs every week and the final print run of each card is based off the quantity ordered. I really liked this idea for my card set but since I'm a one man band, I can't commit to releasing new card designs every week. I release new cards as time permits. Each card features a cool design of a pop culture icon on the front and the back features a short description or bio of that person. I also decided to cap the print run to 500 of each design. I could probably make a lot of money selling these cards if I printed unlimited copies but my reasoning for this decision was pretty simple really, I make these cards for myself. That's first and foremost, I don't make these cards for the money. I have a full time job, I don't need the money, this is a hobby for me and a way to grow my card collection with cards that millions of other collectors don't have and never will.
Another rule for the Topps Living Set is that they will only create one design for any player, unless that player changes teams, then they will make a new design of the player in a different uniform. I kind of stole that idea too for my Pop Culture Icons set but I don't want to limit myself to one card of each person so I decided to number each card #1 on the back. This way, when I make a second design of the same person, that will be card #2. The third design will be card #3, etc, etc. At the time of this writing, Angelina Jolie is the only person I've made two designs of. So I have an Angelina Jolie card #1 and an Angelina Jolie card #2. You follow me?
I also have a second set that I'm working on. It's titled "Demons & Deities" and it's a set where ancient mythology and cool artwork collide! That's my tag line for this set. I know it's cheesy but I kinda like it. This is another "living set" but will only have one design per subject so the cards are not numbered on the back. These also have a print run of 500 of each card. If you can't guess from the title, each card in this set features a God, Goddess or demon from different cultures. So far, I only have 10 of these cards created. This set has proved to be a lot more challenging then I initially expected since I have to do quite a bit of research on the subject to make the back of the card interesting. I apparently didn't pay much attention in grammar school. This set is truly becoming a labor of love.
