Irina Valeryevna Shaykhlislamova (born 6 January 1986), known professionally as Irina Shayk, is a Russian model and actress.
Shayk was born in Yemanzhelinsk, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union, to a Volga Tatar father, Valery Shaykhlislamov, and a Russian mother, Olga Shaykhlislamova. She has one older sister, Tatiana.
Shayk began her modeling career at the age of 19, after winning the Miss Chelyabinsk beauty pageant. She moved to Paris to pursue her modeling career and quickly became one of the most sought-after models in the world.
Shayk has appeared on the covers of numerous magazines, including Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She has also walked in runway shows for Victoria's Secret, Givenchy, Versace, and Chanel.
In addition to her modeling career, Shayk has also appeared in several films, including Hercules (2014) and Nerve (2016).
Shayk is a spokesperson for several brands, including L'Oréal Paris, Guess, and Roberto Cavalli. She is also the founder of her own swimwear line, Irina Shayk Swim.
Shayk is in a relationship with actor Bradley Cooper. They have one daughter together, Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper, who was born in March 2017.
